Building on past Irvington Green Climate Talks and broader community resilience work, Chaos & Catharsis is a speaker-led series addressing an era of overlapping crises: climate disruption, economic instability, democratic stress, technological risk, inequality, polarization, information manipulation, and deepening loneliness. Each gathering pairs big-picture conversation with practical local pathways for engagement and music that invites participation and helps create community cohesion. We hope each evening leaves people feeling more informed, grounded, and connected.

Residents from Hastings-on-Hudson to Sleepy Hollow are invited to join a fun, family-friendly Earth Month game all through April. Explore scenic open spaces, discover community events, take on missions tied to local stewardship and sustainable living, and earn points along the way. A friendly competition among Rivertown villages adds extra excitement while celebrating the places, people, and everyday actions that make our communities thrive. Registration is now open.
The Irvington Green Team is a volunteer group of passionate and concerned residents working to mitigate negative environmental impacts in the community and beyond. We educate, inspire and partner with Village staff, trustees, residents, businesses, contractors and visitors to make choices that create a more sustainable, regenerative and resilient community.
