Sustainable Events

As a Silver Status Climate Smart Community,  the Village of Irvington completed a pledge of Climate Smart Materials Management and is committed to hosting zero waste events. The initiative aims to reduce the community’s carbon footprint by promoting and applying the principles of a circular economy at public events and throughout shared spaces in Irvington, NY. Irvington events organizers are encouraged to enlist the Irvington Green Team for sustainable event management support.
